Between creating culinary masterpieces, an atmosphere that inspires, and experiences sure to keep one revisiting, the term “Creo” was a perfect and meaningful fit for the re-branding of Mangia in Stuyvesent Plaza. “Creo,” the term ‘to create’ in Latin, evokes an air of intrigue yet is seemingly romantic. Having been renovated originally from a Howard Johnson’s, Mangia is no stranger to change. Seeing as Scott Townsend, Principal of 3t, previously designed all of the Mangia Restaurants (including this original), it was a conscious decision to bring 3t’s team on for their talent and variety of services. With a new brand, new menu and new building, Creo’ is sure to stimulate the senses at every level.
